Bill’s Restaurant, Ealing

When thinking about where to go for your next meal, whether it be breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner – whether it be with friends, partners or family – consider Bill’s….

Christmas at Bill's

I took the boyfriend with me to try out a few of the dishes the Ealing branch of the 76-strong restaurant chain had to offer.

We ordered some olives for the table, a little oily for my liking but a nice enough appetiser to keep the hangry monster, that lies inside me if she’s not fed regularly enough, at bay until our starters arrived!

Crab and falafel sweet chilli doughnuts and crispy calamari were our starter choices that arrived promptly. The “doughnuts” with cucumber + Greek yoghurt were really good and light enough for me to fit in a large main AND dessert (more on that to come)! The calamari batter cooked to crispy perfection and two sauces that accompanied the starter beautifully.

I have my eye on the spiced tortillas + avocado, bacon and spinach salad next time I visit!

Getting to the mains section of a Bill’s menu leaves you unbelievably spoilt for choice; burgers, steaks, fish, salads, plus more and so much variety under each heading left us sending the waiter away twice until we could decide on just two dishes.

We finally decided on Bill’s hamburger + pan-fried sea bass fillets with a side of caramelised root vegetables. All unbelievably well cooked and such large portions I couldn’t finish my plate!

After all that food it was rather indulgent of me to order their Honeycomb dessert but I couldn’t help myself!

I would go back just for this plate of heavenly goodness, it’s a must if you visit one of their restaurants!

With so much choice on their menu you definitely have a reason to go back!

Have you been to Bill’s before? What’s your go-to choice on their menu?

Let me know if you go there + what you order.
