Cannstatter Wasen Beer Festival

I have never experienced a German beer festival unless you count a couple of steins previously consumed at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park which I don’t…

…and I definitely don’t count it now I have experienced an actual German beer festival.

First things first, you cannot turn up to a German beer festival in just any old outfit.

Breuninger is an incredibly vast department store in Stuttgart with 10 more stores and an e-shop. Have a look at my Stuttgart highlight on my Instagram page to get a look inside…

My final look got me into the spirit of the event and very excited to get to Cannstatter Wasen!

What do we think to my pink get-up?

Platters of meat and cheese, steins of beer and all the covers blasting from the live music stage. What a fun night! Apologies for my vans ruining the authenticity of the outfit. It was a complete surprise that I was going to be rocking this get up! But how amazing were the outfits? More amazingly, I have it currently hanging in my wardrobe ready for next year because I am definitely going back there!

The atmosphere, the fun fair rollercoasters, the street food, it all mixed so well together and I really enjoyed myself. The language barrier was never an issue [I really thought it would be] and the only hang up would be if you were vegan, Germany is just not the place for you!! Maybe they’ll catch up in a few years!

Has anyone been to Cannstatter Wasen before? People always talk about Octoberfest in Munich but I’ll let you know now, it’s Cannstatter Wasen in Stuttgart I’ll be at next year…

Until next time,
