Limeyard is one of Ealing’s ‘healthier’ dining options, so naturally I had to check it out.
The restaurant is marketed as an “all day American kitchen”, one that didn’t disappoint.
Those that know me, know I consider brunch to be a very important meal of the day. So when I find out Limeyard serves theirs until 4pm I know it’s my kind of place (seeing as I’m not what you would call a morning person).
On the outskirts of Ealing Broadway it is a great location to fuel up before an afternoon of shopping (which might have been exactly what we did).
With my healthy outlook on life I try 90% of the time to find the ‘cleanest’ option on the menu and I think Limeyard’s Kale & Spinach Benedict very much fit the bill for me. Greens, poached eggs, toasted brioche (that I substituted for avocado), spinach and hollandaise sauce for an incredible £6.50!
Their menu is extensive, and I can’t wait to go back to try their buttermilk pancakes with crispy maple bacon (sometimes the clean eating goes completely out the window!).
