I was invited to a weekend of wellness at The Fermain Valley Hotel in Guernsey back in March of this year. The hotel recently launched their Tree House rooms so they asked me to come take a look at them and explore what else the had to offer. How could I say no?
I am on board with anywhere that has its own Library! A place at the edge of the hotel to allow for a quiet experience to relax, read and unwind from your day.
Anyone who knows me could have guessed I couldn’t have seen a Harry Potter book on the shelves and not picked it up…
The Fermain Valley Hotel has completely transformed their grounds. I have no idea how, they have just two grounds staff for the entire property and it is a nature-enthusiasts dream! There is now a yoga house, a meditation pod and as well as the beautifully sculpted gardens between the two spaces they have just created Tree House Rooms for you to enjoy your stay amongst the forest.
One of my favourite things about the hotel is the short walk down the road to the ocean. A 2 minute downhill walk takes you to Fermain Martello Tower and Fermain Bay.
No wellness weekend would be complete for me without a dip in the pool and a trip to the spa [bonus points for who can name the film those lyrics are from]. Sat poolside with a Guernsey Press newspaper to hand, looking out over the terrace and beyond that the sea is just so calming. Although, my favourite part was definitely the sauna. I love anything with high heat and the dry, hot air was lovely on my muscles and relaxed my whole body.
So now I want to know, would you visit The Fermain Valley Hotel?
YAY? or NAY?
It is topping my list of “Where To Go When We Can Fly Again”, that’s for sure!
Until next time,

Thank you to The Fermain Valley Hotel for hosting such an incredible few days. As always, yes this was a press trip but everything I have said is 100% my truthful opinion. I would never recommend anywhere I didn’t love.
