Doing The Wembley Walk

*This is a sponsored collaboration with Wembley Park*

I spent my Monday this week finding out all about the upgrades that have been going on recently to the Wembley Park area.

Standing in the middle of it all, I could see the brand new high-rise apartment blocks, a busy outlet shopping centre, that famous Wembley arch and all the construction sites holding the promise of more to come.

The last time I was in Wembley it was early December. I visited the London Designer Outlet shopping centre for a couple of Christmas presents. It has a wide variety of shops from; Adidas to H&M, Bjorn Borg to Superdry, Oakley to Kurt Geiger – your choices are definitely not limited here!

I started off with lunch on the top floor of LDO. So many options with Frankie & Benny’s, Nando’s, Brazilian Barbecue – I might not have gone for the healthiest! Wagamamas served us with speed and my tastebuds were not disappointed with what they served up.

After I pushed passed the food coma it was time for a spot of shopping.

I (of course) headed straight for the activewear! As if I don’t have enough….

Nike, Adidas, New Balance and Asics – fitness bunnies really are spoilt for choice here.

Forever photographing everything I do….

I might have picked up a new pair of Nike trainers on my trip, oops!

A quick drinks break to refuel (anyone who says shopping isn’t a sport hasn’t been shopping with me!).

And then I put those beautiful trainers straight to use in an evening class held at the Yellow Pavilion. A place in the heart of the community where anyone and everyone are welcome to join in. I was taken through a fitness class (Be Fit Get Smart) with a highly enthusiastic trainer called Reyes. By the end my abs were burning and we were all spent! It’s a class that beginners can join but also one where those with a greater fitness level can still push themselves. 90 minutes of blasting music and a full body workout that I recommend trying out if you live in the area. The Yellow Pavilion also offer so many other activites, it is a hub at the heart of the community.

I love the direction Wembley Park is headed, so many exciting things happening but also to come for this area.

Watch this space!
